01
Privacy Policy
We collect the information needed to operate Hit45, including account details, nominated bank-account details, subscription and transaction records, app diagnostics, and health or activity data you authorise through Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android. Health information is used to calculate challenge progress, verify outcomes, provide support and protect fairness. We don't sell health data. Bank details are used to prepare payments and investigate payment issues, and are shared with our banking provider and authorised staff only where needed. Downloaded bank-payment files contain sensitive information and are handled with restricted access. Access can be changed in Apple Health, Health Connect or device settings. Data is protected using reasonable technical and organisational safeguards and retained only as required to operate the service and meet legal obligations.
02
Terms and Conditions
Paid challenges and associated rewards are currently limited to Australian residents aged 18 or older with an Australian bank account. Users elsewhere may use available free activity features but cannot enter paid challenges. You must provide accurate information. Hit45 is a fitness accountability service, not medical advice, gambling or an investment product. Participation does not guarantee a particular reward amount. You remain responsible for choosing activity appropriate to your health and seeking professional advice when needed. Misuse, manipulation or false activity may lead to disqualification, suspension or account closure.
03
Official Daily Challenge Rules
A daily challenge is successful when verified activity reaches either 45 minutes of qualifying exercise or 10,000 eligible steps during the applicable Hit45 AEST day. Completing both is not required. Manually entered activity is ineligible. Hit45 may reconcile, deduplicate or reject activity that is incomplete, duplicated, unsupported or inconsistent with trusted device evidence. Final outcomes are determined by the server-authoritative record after processing.
04
Subscription and Cancellation Terms
Hit45 is offered as an automatically renewing $14 weekly subscription that unlocks 7 consecutive daily challenges and the complete subscribed fitness-accountability experience, including live activity tracking, daily challenges, progress history and accountability tools. Google Play processes Android subscriptions and Stripe processes iPhone subscriptions. The subscription is not a wager and Hit45 does not offer random outcomes, odds or additional paid entries. Pricing and the next renewal date are shown before purchase and in Account. You may cancel future renewals from Account or through the applicable platform. Cancellation does not normally reverse an already-paid week, which continues until its stated end. Failed renewals may be retried and the app may notify you.
05
Rewards and Settlement Policy
The $14 weekly subscription is allocated across 7 daily commitments of $2. A participant who completes either verified daily activity goal receives that day’s $2 commitment back. A 40% platform fee is deducted only from commitments forfeited by unsuccessful participants. The remaining 60% is divided equally among the successful participants for that day, in addition to each successful participant’s returned $2 commitment. There is no random draw or element of chance: eligibility is determined solely by verified activity. Reward values vary according to daily results and no minimum or particular reward amount is guaranteed. If nobody succeeds, no participant distribution is made. Results may remain pending while activity, disputes, refunds or payment events are reconciled. Payouts are scheduled for the day after each participant’s funded 7-day challenge period ends and its final results settle. Every positive payable balance is included, whether or not the participant renews for another week. There is no minimum payout amount. Hit45 pays by external transfer to the participant’s nominated Australian bank account and does not deduct a scheduled payout fee. Allow 1–3 business days after the transfer is sent for it to reach the recipient’s account; weekends, public holidays, incorrect details, bank processing and necessary payment checks may cause delays. A queued or exported payment is not yet a completed payment. No manual in-app withdrawal is required. Statements may show HIT45 or FORGED FITNESS STUDIO PTY LTD. Amounts already transferred through a former payout provider remain separate and will not be paid twice.
06
Payment and Payout Providers
Google Play processes Android subscription payments and Stripe processes iPhone subscription payments. Hit45 prepares Australian bank-transfer batches for authorised processing through NAB Connect. Participants provide an account name, BSB and account number in Account and confirm that they are authorised to receive funds into that account. Bank details are encrypted in storage, masked in ordinary account views and available only to authorised systems and staff for payments and support. A bank-detail change requires fresh authentication; support-assisted changes require identity checks and an audit record. Saving details does not verify bank-account ownership. Changes normally apply to future batches; contact support urgently about a payment already prepared with incorrect details. We never request online-banking passwords, card PINs or TFNs. Additional checks may be required where necessary.
07
Refund and Dispute Policy
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a paid subscription period has begun, except where required by Australian Consumer Law, the applicable payment platform’s rules or expressly approved after review. If illness, injury, technical failure or an emergency materially affected use of the service, contact support promptly with relevant evidence. Chargebacks, refunds or reversed payments may adjust access, balances and settlements.
08
Health and Wearable Data
Hit45 reads only activity categories you authorise through Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android. Compatible wearables may contribute data when they write supported records to the health platform on your phone. Sync timing and completeness can vary by device provider. Users are responsible for permissions, device wear and sync. Manual entries are excluded. Hit45 is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent disease.
09
Support and Complaints Process
Contact support@hit-45.com with your account email, the date involved and a clear description. We aim to acknowledge support requests promptly and investigate using available device, activity, payment and settlement records. If you are not satisfied, ask for escalation. Nothing in this process limits rights available under applicable consumer law.
10
Account and Data Deletion
You may request deletion inside Account using Delete account, or by emailing support@hit-45.com. We will cancel future renewals and process deletion or de-identification of account data, subject to authentication and any payment, fraud-prevention, tax, legal or record-retention requirements. Some transaction records may need to be retained after account access is removed.
This public policy summary is intended to explain Hit45 clearly. It is not a substitute for independent legal advice. Statutory rights under Australian law are not excluded.
